Silver Tipped
She'd been the honor
student, college graduate, and loving dutiful mother. Played the
part of super mom, loyal wife, and employee of the year. Went to
church, said her prayers, and even volunteered for the homeless.
Gave more of herself than she could ever receive, and yet, there was
always something… missing.
With poetic writing and vivid imagery, this short sensual
composition explores one woman’s quest to answer the question that
has shadowed her throughout her life.
Silver Tipped will be available as an E-Nouvelle only through Blue
Leaf Publications’ new Indigo Blue Division.

Excerpt:
Night was fading.
Moonlight trickled in through the branches and spotted the ground
with patches of light like random spatterings of an artists brush.
Dried foliage rattled in the breeze.
She shivered.
Oh, how she didn't want the night to end. It would only mean she'd
have to go back. Back to a life of mortgages and mini vans. To the
reality of society. And, back to the questions of why she had spent
the last two weeks hiding out in this small cabin. Alone. Away from
the phones and the worry of work. Away from everyone.
"It's nobody's business," she whispered into the darkness.
She took a sip of wine. Fitting she'd killed the entire bottle in
one evening. It was over. The whole trip had been pointless. Another
dead end in a life filled with the same.
Shifting her position in the rocking chair, she curled the blanket
closer.
Another hour.
Just one more hour until the moon crested over the tree line. Then
she would go in. Tomorrow would be her last day. She'd planned on
spending it quietly packing and writing in her journal. A vain
attempt to return home with the memory of her lost moments of
solace. If only if there was some momentous event that she could
include. A passing inspiration. Something. Anything except but the
dull tedium of the realization that maybe everyone else had been
right.

"Flowing
and lyrical, almost poetic, Silver Tipped by author Lea Jardin is a
pleasurable read. Written from the point of view of the nameless
heroine you hear and feel the thoughts she feels. You experience her
fear and the desire she feels for the mysterious one who seems to
answer her call. I especially enjoyed the imagery of the forest and
the descriptiveness of the heroine's emotions and experiences. A
short enjoyable paranormal read, this is a well-written wolfie book
designed to sink your teeth into." FALLEN ANGEL REVIEWS, Reviewed by
