The Decision
by Penny A. Zeller
Summary:
How can the man Andi loved and shared her life with for last twenty-five years no longer care for her? Faced with the difficult decision of staying in or leaving her marriage, what will Andi choose?
Excerpt:
"Andi drove away from the house, watching it recede in the rearview mirror. The Christmas lights her husband, Ross, had recently hung dangled from the eaves and the driveway was cleared of last night's heavy Wyoming snowstorm. This was the home she had lived in for a large portion of her life, the home into which she had poured so much of her heart and soul.
Yet Andi didn't know where she was going as she sped down the winding drive, only that she had to get away.
Life with Ross had become too painful.
As she turned onto the main road then rounded the bend in the road, she could still see the smoke rising out of the chimney from the fireplace they had saved for months to build. The river rock surrounding the fireplace alone had cost a bundle but it hadn't mattered for the house had always been warm.
It was lately that hearts had grown cold..."
